Crochet Pattern for Gandalf the Gray Amigurumi

A friend asked me to make him a Gandalf doll. I looked for a crochet pattern online, but didn't find one that was just the right style I was looking for: the Japanese-inspired, Kawaii, big head with simplified body (think Power Puff Girls or Hello Kitty). I think the shaping of his iconic hat really sets this doll apart.
